Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Technical Team Leader with 7 to 10 years of experience to lead enterprise web application delivery. This role reports directly to the CTO and is ideal for someone who can balance technical leadership, team guidance, customer interaction, and active software development. The role is not purely managerial. The candidate must continue to contribute to coding, architecture discussions, code reviews, troubleshooting, and delivery execution.

Qualifications & Experience

• 7 to 10 years of total software development experience with proven team leadership experience.
• Strong hands-on development background and experience delivering enterprise-grade web applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience.

Work Arrangement

• Primarily Work From Home.
• Must be willing to travel to the office 2 to 4 times per month or as business needs require.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team of 5 to 6 members including Developers, QA Engineers, UI/UX Designers, and relevant stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, code reviews, architecture inputs, 100% code coverage and support for complex technical issues.
• Understand client requirements and convert them into scalable technical solutions, SRS documents, estimates, plans, and delivery roadmaps.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, improve delivery predictability, and ensure commitments are met.
• Interact with customers for requirement discussions, solution presentations, status updates, and delivery communication.
• Work closely with QA to improve quality, prevent defects, conduct RCA where required, and maintain project documentation and metrics.
• Create a positive, collaborative, and growth-oriented environment while helping team members succeed technically and professionally.
• Lead by example through technical excellence, ownership, and hands-on contribution.
• Balance implementation work with mentoring, architecture review, delivery planning, and customer communication.
• Make practical technical decisions that support quality, scalability, maintainability, and timely delivery.
• Ability to adapt execution approach based on customer expectations, project needs, and delivery complexity.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in Node.js, Vue.js, MySQL, and SQL query optimization.
• Experience building high-performance, scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise web applications.
• Good understanding of application architecture, system design, API-driven development, and engineering best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Git, branching workflows, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Exposure to microservices architecture, distributed systems design, and cloud-native application development.
• Understanding of monitoring, logging, performance tuning, and production support practices.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall models.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with customer-facing confidence.
• Strong leadership, ownership, problem-solving, decision-making, and accountability.
• Ability to work effectively with remote teams, manage risks, support team members, and drive results proactively.
